Early Childhood @ New Music School

New Music School's Early Childhood Enrichment Classes offer a comprehensive, sequential plan for the musical development of children, birth to age five.
This unique, sequential approach to early childhood music education is based on Orff Schulwerk philosophy, which focuses on the experience of music as the basis of developing motor skills and knowledge.
The classes' activities bridge the natural connection between music and movement while enhancing and further developing your child's musical aptitude and listening abilities. The classes provide an active, hands-on musical environment appropriate for the age.

We are currently enrolling for our Winter session starting on February 9 for our groups: Tuning Tots (16-24 months), Twinkle Toes (age 2) and Thumper Bumper (age 3). The enrollment form  for the eight week program can be found here.

Thumper Bumper | Tuesdays at 3 pm

Class dates

If your child is part of a play group and you are interested in having New Music School provide an Early Childhood Class in your home, please contact New Music School at 312 612 1969. Play group class sessions can begin at any time. Each Play Group Session will last eight weeks and consist of the same curriculum model taught at our main location.

When we have a minimum of four children interested at a time, a private group class is formulated for each eight week session. To inquire about starting, you can fill out the form to the right on this page or call 312 612 1969.
