New Music School (NMS) is proud to work directly with Midwest String Rentals (MSR); Chicago's premier string rental company. At NMS, we ensure all students' an easy path to selecting a string instrument. At NMS, students/parents can rest assured knowing we have done the research to make sure your instrument is of the finest quality. 

NMS and MSR will

• Size student's for instrument at first lesson (new students).
• Bring new instrument to second lesson.
• Need instrumental repair? NMS will arrange with MSR directly.
• Need supplies? NMS's private instructors will purchase and deliver.

To Rent an Instrument

To begin renting an instrument a parent, guardian or other responsible adult need only complete the attached rental contract and provide basic credit information. If credit card information cannot be provided, a security deposit is required. Minimum rental is two months, for which we bill up front. Following that we bill monthly. Automatic credit card payment is offered at a discounted rate. The contract may be canceled at any time, and billing will end when the instrument is returned. Make sure to mention New Music School on your rental form.
