ABOUT NMS | Mentored by Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians, renowned collegiate professors, and other world-class faculty, our students are exposed to unconstrained musical exploration in a fun and engaging atmosphere. This Conservatory Program utilizes a robust five-level curriculum, combining private study, chamber music, and theory/ear training.

Our program challenges and grows with students; whether they are picking up an instrument for the first time or are looking to enter the most prestigious music conservatories in the world. Lessons are offered in piano, violin, viola, voice, guitar, and other orchestral and band instruments. New Music School offers lessons for all ages including adults and early childhood held at our school located at 900 N Michigan Ave Level 6 in Chicago; onsite or online.

AT NMS's CORE | At New Music School, we believe in preparing the whole musician through a set of core musical principals - private lessons, theory/ear training, performance, collaboration, and Juries.

HOW DO I SIGN UP? |

• Inside the form make your way to the blue class selection button
• Type in GEMS Aftercare Piano, for examle and select
• Administration will get in touch wtih you to schedule a class time with the NMS faculty that will be reocrruing weekly. 
• If start lessons mid-way through the term, we will prorate lessons. 

WHAT IF I DON'T SEE THE INSTRUMENT WE WOULD LIKE TO LEARN? | Easy, you can (as a GEMS family) sign up with lessons at our convenient location in the Gold Coast. We offer all instruments and voice at our 900 N Michigan Ave. location. Please let us know you are a GEMS family when signing up.

LESSON FEES | Please note that the exclusive GEMS lesson rates are for the teachers listed here. Any other teacher, outside of those listed here, may have a different rate due to their experience level within the NMS faculty structure.
