The New Music School Brass Quintet performs educational programs throughout the Chicago region. The ensemble welcomes requests from schools, colleges, churches, and youth organizations to perform and introduce music to audiences of all ages. We offer educational programming that includes but is not limited to: Meeting the Brass Family of Instruments, Discovering New Music, How to Master Chamber Music, and Discovering the Classics through Brass. In addition to our programs, the NMSBQ enjoys working directly with brass students and providing clinics on each instrument. If a school or college chooses, the New Music School Brass Quintet will conduct mini-masterclasses for individual students or chamber groups.

Comprised of esteemed performers, the New Music School Brass Quintet aims to be the finest educational ensemble in Chicago. All of the members are wonderful teachers who bring exciting and engaging programs to their audiences. With advanced degrees in music, members of excellent ensembles, and reputable master teachers, the New Music School Brass Quintet brings the complete package to you.
